Admin Assistant/Reservations Clerk $17.00 Hour
Location: Temescal Canyon CA
Schedule: M-F 8.30am to 5.00pm Temp to Hire
Overview of Position:
We are looking for a Reservations Administrative Assistant to undertake all registration receptionist and clerical duties at the front office. You will be the first point of contact for all visitors/guests and will be responsible for first impressions.
You should be able to deal with complaints and give accurate information. A customer-oriented approach is essential. The goal is to make all guest and visitors feel comfortable and valued.
Job Duties:
Greeting and welcoming guests in person or by phone.
Manage the registration process – check guest into the resort collect and post payments.
Provide guest with directions answer questions concerning the resort as well as the local area.
Address complaints and report problems to the Office Supervisor on duty if unable to handle.
Answer calls and provide information transfer incoming calls
Contact maintenance departments when a problem is reported record on log sheet.
Makes modifies and cancels reservations for guests.
Collects appropriate deposit for reservations. refund or transfer deposits for cancelled reservations.
Sort and distribute mail – letters packages deliveries etc.
Provide outstanding guest service at every opportunity
Promote a positive relationship with team members in all departments and divisions
Skills and Experience Required:
MS Office Skills experience using QuickBooks a huge plus!
Strong customer service organizational and multi-tasking abilities.
Must be accurate and detailed oriented problem solving skills.
Ability to interact well with others in a team environment.
