CNC Machinist Programmer $33 to $36 DOE
Location: Hemet CA
Schedule: 6.00am to 2.30pm Monday to Friday flex for occasional OT and Saturdays
Job Overview:
The Machinist Programmer will be responsible for creating and optimizing CNC programs using Mastercam software.
This role involves close collaboration with engineering teams and supervisors to enhance quality and process improvements and implement cost-reduction strategies in machining operations.
Job Duties:

Develops and optimizes CNC programs using Mastercam software to meet engineering drawings.

Collaborates with engineering teams and Supervisors to ensure program development.

Analyzes machining operations and recommend cost reduction strategies.

Troubleshoots and resolves programming issues to ensure smooth production.

Maintains and updates program documentation and ensures compliance with safety and quality.

Works from drawings blueprints sketches engineering drawings and verbal or written instructions.

Uses precision measuring instruments to check dimensional accuracy of work.

Sets up and operates lathes or mills selects tooling and configuration of inserts.

Creates CNC programs to produce product Also works with Manager and team leader on QC.

Consistently keeps internal and external customers highly informed as necessary
Education and Experience:

3 Years Programming CNC Machining Lathes or Mills.

Proficiency in Mastercam software and CNC programming understanding of machining processes.

Training and/or Certification in CNC programming or related field highly desirable.

Ability to read and understand instructions specifications blue prints or work orders required.

Ability to drive or be trained to drive forklift.
-
Drug Screen and Background Check required.
