Freight Shipping Clerk $20.00-$21.00 DOE
Location: Temecula CA
Schedule: Mon-Fri 6:00am-2:30pm flexible for Overtime Temp to Hire!
The Freight Shipping Clerk is responsible for shipping and must be able to use hand and power tools to build pallets for large shipments as well packing and shipping boxes and packages. This person will also be responsible for manifests invoices and orders to ensure they are recorded accurately for either incoming or outgoing shipments.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Primary functions are packing products for shipping.

Pack seal and label boxes for shipping ensure packaging specifications are met.

Prepare packages and palletize units being shipped out.

Utilize power tools such as drills staple guns and other hand tools to put together crates and combine pallets to enlarge the platform to place and palletize large shipments.

Examine contents and check against manifests invoices or packing slips to verify accuracy.

Pull products from the warehouse to fill orders check against PO’s and paperwork.

Process labels using shipping software such as UPS FedEx etc.

May operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks dollies or forklift.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

Previous warehouse and/or shipping and receiving experience required.

Experience with Shipping Software such as UPS FedEx inventory control desired.

Basic PC Skills and MS Office attention to detail and accuracy.

Familiarity with power tools is desired.

Drug Screen and Background check required.
