R&D Design Engineer $25.00 Hour
Location: Temecula CA
Schedule: Mon-Fri 7.30am to 4.00pm Temp to Hire
Overview of Position:
WE are seeking an R&D Designer with CAD Design skills who will be responsible for researching developing and designing new products or improving existing ones.
This individual will collaborate with Engineering Production and Customers to translate ideas into prototypes and to ensure final products align with customer needs. Experience in the water osmosis industry highly desirable.
Job Description:

Provide engineering support and recommend commercial industrial and specialty systems to customers

Analyses engineering sketches specifications data and drawings to determine design factors.

Prepares and offers concept development of the components and assembly generation in 3D.

Works closely with suppliers to evaluate engineering innovation in water filtration products.

Read and interpret blueprints/technical drawings to perform manufacturing process reviews.

Generate engineering specifications for all product parts with fit feel and finish requirements.

Evaluate and provide technical designs for water filtration systems assemblies and parts.

Perform Design for Assembly (DFA) and Design Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (DFMEA to investigate design failures and recommend remedial actions/modifications.

Participation in product development confer with engineers to resolve systems malfunctions.

Develop or propose solutions for Reverse Osmosis systems and membrane design

Uses computer assisted design/drafting equipment and software to develop designs.

Measures parts during production to ensure compliance with design specifications.

Research and prescribe optimized materials and manufacturing processes
Skills and Experience Required:

Proficient in CAD (computer assisted design)/drafting equipment and software.

Read and interpret blueprints/technical drawings

Must be able to generate engineering specifications and provide technical designs

Experience in the water osmosis industry highly desirable.
