Facilities Maintenance Technician $23-$27 (Field Based)
Location: Murrieta CA
Travel: High Travel Required (75-80%) Primarily within California Nevada and Arizona
Position Overview:
We are seeking a Field based Facilities Service Technician to support installations maintenance repairs and upgrades at commercial facilities.
This role requires 75-80% travel to clients within CA NV and AZ. This is great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work is open to extensive travel and has a passion for learning.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform installations preventive maintenance upgrades and repairs on systems at client facilities.
Diagnose system errors troubleshoot failures and conduct corrective actions as needed.
Provide general facilities maintenance and repair services.
Assist the senior Field Service Technician with various tasks at client locations.
Complete product maintenance and repair work as directed.
Ensure all parts and tools are returned from sites after completion of each job.
Maintain assigned equipment and tools and provide inventory reports as required.
Submit timesheets expense reports and service documentation in a timely manner.
Represent the Company with professionalism a positive attitude and a strong drive to learn.
Sales Support – promote service contracts and additional service offerings to customers.
Skills and Experience Required:
Mechanical aptitude handyman skills comfortable using tools and equipment.
Willingness to travel 75-80% to job sites flexibility to stay multiple days as needed.
Basic troubleshooting abilities to diagnose and resolve issues.
Proficiency with electronics (PC cell phone alarm panels) MS Office (Word Outlook Excel PowerPoint).
Ability to read and follow work orders instructions and technical directions.
Willingness to learn the integration and troubleshooting of computer hardware and software.
